The Heart of the Welsh Countryside
This modest and peaceful space is ideal for hosting workshops and retreats. There are many beautiful and somewhat mystical beauty spots to explore from Mynydd du.
In the foot of the Black Mountains and national parks. Less than one hour drive to The Gower Peninsula, Brecon, Carmarthen and Swansea. The diversity in landscape and terrain is vast in Wales. The Gower can at times feel like the Med whilst 40 minutes north into the Mountains the snow is starting to fall.
Although, it is not necessary to venture far from the studio. As we are blessed, daily with much wildlife, being totally submerged in nature. Red Kites fly over almost daily. There are a pair of Buzzards living near, seen frequently hovering ckise by.>
The Studio garden is also home to lizzards, newts, frogs, Tods and many different birds. We are have been visited by sparrow hawks and herons. Canadian geese stop by in near by waters, often seen in large flocks. .
